Arizona Public Service (APS) said recently it has become the first utility outside of California to surpass 1 gigawatt of solar energy capacity.

APS recently honored six full-time employees who have demonstrated dedication to their communities through volunteer efforts.

More than 300 schools in Arizona Public Service's territory will be taking part in a solar power incentive program offered by APS.
