Amazon has announced a $2.2 billion investment to increase wages and expand benefits for hourly employees across its U.S. fulfillment and transportation network, significantly impacting the thousands of workers in the Chicago area.

LeAndrea Ashley, a St. Anne, IL resident, was recently promoted to Area Manager at the Amazon Monee Fulfillment Center. Ashley announced the promotion on LinkedIn two weeks ago.
