The President and CEO of Boeing, Kelly Ortberg, issued a statement regarding Air India Flight 171. The incident has affected many, particularly in Ahmedabad.

Ortberg expressed condolences to those who lost loved ones among the passengers and crew. "Our deepest condolences go out to the loved ones of the passengers and crew on board Air India Flight 171, as well as everyone affected in Ahmedabad," he stated.

He also mentioned his communication with Air India Chairman N. Chandrasekaran, offering Boeing's full support for the investigation. "I have spoken with Air India Chairman N. Chandrasekaran to offer our full support, and a Boeing team stands ready to support the investigation led by India’s Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau," Ortberg said.

Boeing is prepared to assist in the ongoing investigation being conducted by India's Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau.
