Visa, Street Soccer USA, and Bank of America have announced a new initiative to expand access to soccer in communities across the United States. This collaboration aims to provide open park spaces in six cities, promoting community engagement and youth development through sport.
Lawrence Cann, Co-Founder and President of Street Soccer USA, stated, “This movement is about scale, sustainability, and impact. Alongside our partners, we are making a significant pass toward building a national network of parks that deliver real value—on and off the field. These are spaces where young people can grow, communities can connect, and every victory, big or small, can lead to meaningful change.”
The first Visa Street Soccer Park opened in San Francisco. Each park will include two professional-grade Bank of America fields with facilities such as lighting for evening activities, digital scoreboards, learning centers, and seating areas for spectators.
The planned openings for these parks are as follows: Denver in August 2025; Kansas City in September 2025; New York City in October 2025; Nashville in November 2025; and Atlanta by winter 2025.
Kim Lawrence, President of North America at Visa remarked on the partnership's broader goals: “Through this partnership, we’re creating more than soccer parks—we’re building platforms for progress. Each park represents a step toward stronger, more connected communities. By combining the power of sports with access to education and opportunity, we’re helping individuals and families move forward—one goal, one lesson, and one connection at a time.”
These efforts come ahead of an important year for soccer in the U.S., providing opportunities for community growth into 2026 and beyond.
