As entrepreneurship continues to transform regional economies, Northern Kentucky companies are increasingly partnering with SparkHaus to support the development of a robust startup ecosystem. Through sponsorships, these businesses contribute to programs and initiatives that foster innovation and entrepreneurship.
SparkHaus, set to open in Covington, will serve as a central hub for entrepreneurs in Northern Kentucky, providing mentorship, resources, and community support. Corporate sponsors play a significant role by funding programs, offering tools and infrastructure, and enhancing access to entrepreneurial resources.
“Sponsorships help power a range of SparkHaus offerings—from workshops and programming to fellowships,” said Dave Knox, executive director of Blue North. “These investments directly support early-stage entrepreneurs and help reduce barriers for underrepresented and first-time founders.”
Notable companies have already pledged their support for SparkHaus. St. Elizabeth Healthcare and First Financial Bank are capital campaign donors who will cover membership costs for aspiring entrepreneurs. St. Elizabeth will fund scholarships for LifeSciKY members, while First Financial Bank will provide similar support for Northern Kentucky University students and host programs at the venue.
Companies can select from three tiers of sponsorships—Platinum, Gold, and Silver—each lasting three years. Early sponsors include Frost Brown Todd (Platinum), Fidelity Private Shares (Gold), and Fifth Third Bank (Silver). These tiers offer various engagement opportunities such as event hosting, educational leadership roles, and membership access.
Some firms are tailoring their contributions. DBL Law will sponsor the podcasting and webinar room at SparkHaus, naming it the Made It Studio powered by DBL Law. This initiative complements the firm's existing speaker series.
Wood Herron & Evans LLP plans to fund three memberships for socially and economically diverse entrepreneurs to ensure they have access to essential resources.
By partnering with SparkHaus, corporate entities are not only supporting entrepreneurship but also playing an active role in shaping Northern Kentucky's economic landscape. Their investments promote innovation, job creation, and leadership development within the region's entrepreneurial community.
