In 2022, the Economic Development Administration (EDA) issued 32 grants totaling $68,505,027 to fund economic development projects in Massachusetts.

This represents a 284% increase over 2021, when the state received $17,840,457 in funding.

Massachusetts ranked 18th across the U.S. in total EDA grant funding for 2022. California topped the list with $238,656,132 in funding across 57 grants.

Economic Development and Industrial Corporation (EDIC) of Boston received the largest EDA grant for funding an economic development project in the state, totalling $23,002,304.
