Papa John's International, Inc., established in 1984, emphasizes using high-quality ingredients for its pizzas, which it believes results in superior quality. The company maintains that its original dough comprises only six ingredients, is always fresh, and that its pizzas are topped with authentic cheese and sauce made from vine-ripened tomatoes. Notably, Papa Johns was the first national pizza delivery chain to remove artificial flavors and synthetic colors from its entire food menu. Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia and Louisville, Kentucky, the company is among the largest pizza delivery chains globally, with more than 6,000 restaurants spread across about 50 countries and territories.
