Bank of America and Youth on Course have announced a partnership aimed at expanding access to golf for young players across the United States. The initiative will focus on adding municipal golf courses to the Youth on Course network, broadening opportunities for youth engagement in the sport.

David Tyrie, Chief Digital Officer and Chief Marketing Officer at Bank of America, emphasized the benefits of this collaboration: “Through golf, young people have the chance to be active, develop skills to achieve personal goals, and socialize with others, all of which can set them up for success in life. By helping to increase access to and interest in golf, we’re helping the sport continue to grow and making positive impact in our communities.”

Youth on Course is a nonprofit organization based in Monterey, California. It provides affordable golfing opportunities for youth under 18 years old. Since its founding in 2006, members have played over four million subsidized rounds at partner courses across various countries including the U.S., Canada, and Australia.

The organization also supports junior golfers through initiatives such as DRIVE Club and Careers on Course. Additionally, it offers college scholarships and maintains an alumni network for members aged 19 and older.

Bank of America has a longstanding involvement with golf worldwide. The bank recently became a Champion Partner of the Masters Tournament and has been associated with events like the Augusta National Women’s Amateur since 2019.
