YZi Labs has announced its rebranding from Binance Labs, with an expanded investment focus on Web3, artificial intelligence (AI), and biotechnology. Ella Zhang will return as the head of the organization. The announcement was made on X on January 23.
According to their post on X, existing portfolio companies will continue to receive the same level of support following the rebrand. This includes access to resources and initiatives such as the incubation program and the BNB Chain’s Most Valuable Builder (MVB) program. YZi Labs also confirmed that its support structure for over 250 projects across six continents would remain unchanged.
Zhang has been appointed as the Head of YZi Labs following the rebranding. She co-founded Binance Labs in 2018 and led its initial incubation programs, supporting over 40 startups such as Polygon, CertiK, and Dune Analytics.
