Amazon has announced the opening of a principal employee relations position in Erlanger, Kentucky. The role is designed to support Amazon North America operations employees and field leaders.

According to Amazon Jobs, the position involves applying expertise to identify and mitigate employee relations risks, manage crises, and lead large-scale projects aimed at improving employee and contractor experiences. Key responsibilities include analyzing data to develop recommendations, delivering innovative solutions, and communicating effectively with stakeholders. The role also requires the ability to work independently in ambiguous situations, influence change, and design scalable solutions for the entire network.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of relevant experience in employee relations, labor relations, or labor/employment law. Additionally, at least one year of experience at Amazon is required. Strong skills in data analysis, project management, and communication are essential, along with a proven track record in creating and executing programs at scale. Preferred qualifications include an advanced degree or Juris Doctor (JD), experience in warehousing or logistics, and the ability to manage competing priorities with independent judgment.
