The Insurance Information Institute (Triple-I) has initiated a campaign to highlight the effects of legal system abuse on consumers, businesses, and insurers in Georgia. This effort includes an Interstate 20 billboard in Downtown Atlanta and digital billboards throughout Metro Atlanta at bus stops and other urban locations.

According to the American Tort Reform Association, Georgia ranks as the worst "Judicial Hellhole" in the United States due to a high volume of lawsuits, significant damage awards, and an unfriendly legal environment.

"Our work aims to educate Georgians on how these legal practices increase their auto and home insurance costs and negatively impact everyone," said Triple-I CEO Sean Kevelighan. He further stated that "billboard attorneys in the state continue to exploit legal loopholes, which inflate costs for everyone—consumers, businesses and the local economy. In fact, this abuse costs each Georgian $1,372 per year and contributes to over 137,000 job losses annually. We are committed to shedding light on these practices and advocating for comprehensive legislative reforms that address legal system abuse."

In addition to the billboard campaign, Kevelighan joined Robert Townley, an independent insurance agent from Atlanta and president of Townley Kenton, in a video addressing the widespread impacts of legal system abuse.

Triple-I has also launched a website named StopLegalSystemAbuse.org as part of their efforts. The site features interviews with several consumers who share their views on tactics used by billboard attorneys nationwide to encourage lawsuits.
