Amazon announced that NOOMA has achieved year-over-year growth in its Amazon store for the past nine years. The company has expanded its Sweat + Do Good initiative to support nonprofits that promote healthy, active lifestyles for underserved communities in Cleveland.

NOOMA, founded in 2013, developed an omnichannel sales strategy by 2015, utilizing Amazon to reach customers who discover their products through gyms, grocery stores, or social media. According to Amazon, the company's use of Amazon's Subscribe and Save service accounts for 40% of its revenues, and they have adjusted their product formulations for better shipping and profitability.

"They’re going to buy it where they want to buy it and what’s convenient to them. And, for millions of Americans, Amazon is convenient to them," said Jarred Smith, NOOMA co-founder. "It’s allowed us to be accessible even if we don’t have a nationwide footprint. We’re there and available to any customer in America."

The NOOMA Sweat + Do Good initiative supports organizations that provide sports and fitness opportunities to underserved youth in Cleveland. According to Amazon, the company partners with local charities such as ZENworks Yoga and Adaptive Sports Ohio, donating proceeds and participating in events to promote access to sports for individuals with physical disabilities.

"The more we’re able to grow our business, the more we’re able to give back to our community," said Brandon Smith, NOOMA co-founder. "Whether it’s showing up at events and charity 5Ks, donating drinks, donating time, donating money, sponsorship, that’s what we like to do—and we’re super focused on consistently being involved in the local community."

NOOMA focuses on providing functional beverages and supporting organizations that promote active, healthy lifestyles. According to NOOMA, the company operates under three principles: zero artificial ingredients, functionality, and no added sugars. It is also a certified B-Corp committed to positive social impact.
