Amazon offers a fertility and family-building perk to all benefits-eligible employees. The benefit, provided through Progyny, gives employees access to more than 950 of the nation’s top fertility specialists.

According to About Amazon, Amazon's 750,000 U.S. employees receive comprehensive benefits, including health care from day one, up to 20 weeks of paid parental leave, a 401(k) with a 50% company match, and free skills training.

"Amazon benefits are amazing. There is something in there for everyone. Medical, dental, legal, vision, elder care, etc," said Melvin Sharples in a Reddit thread for Amazon employees.

Another Reddit user shared in a thread on Amazon's benefits: "Amazon offers fertility benefits through Progyny! We are paying 2k out of pocket instead of 18k for our ivf cycle!"

Amazon offers non-U.S. employees in 50 countries access to virtual support for services related to preconception and surrogacy.

Progyny, a third-party insurance company, offers a fertility benefit plan called "Smart Cycle." Depending on the employer’s plan, each employee receives a certain number of Smart Cycles. Progyny bundles individual services, tests, and medications needed for a certain type of treatment and assigns it a Smart Cycle value. A single fertility treatment can require a portion of a Smart Cycle.
