Ace Hardware will hire 40,000 new employees during the spring months.
The company prides itself on hiring from within the local community. Full-time, part-time and seasonal positions are open in retail store locations and distribution centers, according to Ace.
“We believe that we’ve been blessed to be in the business of serving others, and, we are grateful for the surge in business that has generated the need to hire an additional 40,000 red-vested heroes to further serve and support our neighbors in communities across America,” said John Venhuizen, president and CEO of Ace Hardware.
According to Ace, the company has opened more than 900 new stores over the past five years totaling over 5,500 stores globally. More than 75% of people live within 15 minutes of an Ace Hardware store.
Ace has seen tremendous growth and reported more than $8.6 billion in sales in 2021. Ace saw a 10.7% percent growth from the previous year. The company opened 182 new stores in the United States in 2021, according to Ace.
According to Ace, the company has been around since 1924 with distribution centers located in the U.S., as well as Ningbo, China; Colon, Panama; and Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
