Each of the nine U.S. House of Representatives members representing Indiana draws an annual salary of $174,000, according to the Congressional Research Service. 

Three elected members of the House of Representatives earn higher salaries due to their leadership positions. They are Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, who represents California’s 12th District ($223,500); Majority Leader Steny Hoyer of Maryland’s 5th District ($193,400); and Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy of California’s 23rd District ($193,400).

Members of Congress receive other funds as well, including health care insurance options, travel allowance to their districts and mail privileges. In addition, they get funds to hire staff personnel and purchase office equipment.
