The Casa Grande Arts & Humanities Commission is accepting nominations for the 2016 Bravo Award.
The Bravo Award is dedicated to those who have made an impact in the Casa Grande art scene, according to an announcement. Nominees must satisfy a list of criteria such serving in a leadership position in an arts organization and contributing artistically to the city of Casa Grande.
Those who are eligible for nomination include artists, teachers, art appreciators, patrons and supporters. To be eligible, nominees cannot have won the Bravo Award in the past, must be 18 or older and cannot be a current member of the Arts & Humanities Commission.
Those filling out the nomination form must describe in 500 words or less how their nominee has made a difference in the city's artistic culture and provide a letter of support completed by another one of the nominee's supporters.
The deadline to turn in the nomination form is Sept. 22. The winner of the 2016 Bravo Award will be announced 7 p.m. Oct. 20 at Bedillon's Restaurant, 800 N. Park Ave., Casa Grande.
