The city of Show Low will be screening "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" for a free public event June 23.

Beginning at 8 p.m. at Frontier Fields 660 N. Ninth Place, this public event will include a number of snacks and beverages for purchase, including kettle corn from Poppin' Hot Kettle Corn. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets and camping chairs, and to clean up after themselves.

"Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" is a prequel to the Star Wars saga and is rated PG-13.

The movie "follows a ragtag band of freedom fighters (a former solder-turned-prisoner, a Rebel Alliance insider, an intensely spiritual believer in the Force and a sentient robot) as they take great risks to steal the Death Star’s secret blueprints," according to the city.
