Pima Animal Care Center is holding a weeklong Construction Sale through March 31.

During the sale, being held at PACC’s shelter, 4000 N. Silverbell Road in Tucson and at five partner PetSmart stores, all pets, including dogs, cats, puppies and kittens, are eligible for a name-your-own-adoption fee, a press release on the Pima County website said.

This construction sale is being held to mark progress on the PACC's new animal care facility, which will provide a larger space to hold animals, the release said.

“We want to celebrate the significant milestone met for our new shelter by clearing out our kennels and offering low-cost adoptions to loving homes,” Justin Gallick, PACC’s director of community engagement, said in the release.

Pets offered for adoption come spayed or neutered, with up-to-date vaccinations, microchips and with a free vet visit voucher, the release said. The sale does not include the $17 licensing fee for adult dogs.
