The Friends of the Glendale Public Library recently announced it will host a public social and recruiting event at the Foothills Library on April 10.
During the event, library patrons, advocates and prospective members will be invited on a tour and art walk that will begin in the library's Roadrunner Room. The organization will also be gathering library stories in support of Libraries Transform, a campaign by the American Library Association to raise awareness of the importance of public libraries.
Friends of the Glendale Public Library is a non-profit organization founded in support of Glendale's library system.
