Glendale Mayor Jerry Weiers will host the 66th Annual State of the City Address and Dinner next month at the Renaissance Glendale Hotel & Spa to recognize the city’s growth and advancement and to thank those for their hard work and support.
The March 2 event begins with check-in and reception at 5:30 p.m., followed by the dinner and program at 6:30.
Hundreds of community and business leaders are expected.
“Delivering a “Make A Positive Difference” theme, Weiers will lay out the city’s accomplishments for the year, and provide a road map for continuing the positive trends and momentum the city of Glendale is experiencing,” a Chamber of Commerce news release said.
“It’s vital we continue the positive momentum that our city is experiencing,” Weiers said. “I’m convinced if every citizen, every business person commits to making a positive difference in someone’s life each day, we can achieve anything we set our minds to. That especially includes attracting more jobs to Glendale because that provides our residents even more opportunities for success.”
