The Pima County Consolidated Justice Court stayed open late recently to hold warrant resolution court, allowing anyone with a suspended driver's license or an outstanding warrant to walk in and resolve legal issues. Judges Maria Felix and Keith Bee presided.
The ongoing warrant resolution program is aimed at helping people who cannot see a judge during regular business hours. Pima County reported that before the most recent court, 461 driver’s license suspensions had been lifted, 470 warrants had been quashed, 569 courtroom hearings had been held, and 1,391 people had received help with resolving outstanding issues.
