ArmorWorks Enterprises, a Chandler-based designer and manufacturer of military survivability products, has appointed Brad Pedersen as the company's chief executive officer.

"Brad has the combined skills as an engineer and business leader to help transform ArmorWorks and build on the company's momentum following its recent winning of several large and exciting contracts," Angus Littlejohn, CEO of Littlejohn Capital LLC, which recapitalized ArmorWorks in 2014, said. "During his successful career Brad has developed proven leadership skills and we look forward to working with him as we implement new initiatives that will utilize ArmorWorks' technology-edge to drive new military and commercial applications."

Pedersen replaces William Perciballi, founder and 20-year CEO of ArmorWorks. Perciballi remains a significant shareholder and will serve as vice chairman, assisting with strategy, technical direction and product development.

Pedersen has held leadership positions at public and private companies for more than 10 years. He recently served as president and CEO of Breeze-Eastern, a designer and manufacturer of helicopter hoists. He helped lead the company's organizational restructuring while growing sales and profitability.
